I AM the Bread of Life

Jesus doesn’t say “I have the bread of life.” He says “I am the bread of life.” He’s not saying to us “follow my teachings, embrace my ethics.” In fact, He’s not even saying “come to me for salvation.” He’s saying, “dear ones, I offer myself fully and without reserve for you. Now come to me, feast upon me and have life.”
