Feasting on the Bread of Life

This is the heart of the Christian life: not simply to know answers about what Christ has done, not simply to understand how church politics work, not simply to become respected by the church. The heart of the Christian life is that we behold Jesus Christ Himself. That is true spiritual nourishment.

And no matter what comes into our life, what heartbreaks, what heartaches, what sorrows, what trials, what sufferings, what disappointments. If we have put our hope and trust alone in Jesus Christ, we are the most blessed beings on the face of this planet because Jesus is ours and we are His.
