Fellowship and Falsehood

The church of Jesus Christ is the sweetest and most beautiful fellowship on earth—and at the very same time, it can also be the hardest and most painful place to be. How can both of those statements be true? In John 13:18–30, we see both realities side by side around the table with Jesus: the sweetness of sincere fellowship and the sorrow of false discipleship. In this passage we’ll consider together what it means to belong to Christ’s church in a world where wheat and tares grow side by side.
