The Word Became Flesh

God is utterly glorious in every way, and yet without the incarnation, we would have no conception of His glory. It would be like staring into the sun- the incredible luminescence of it would be intolerable to our souls. The gulf between God’s divine glory and the frailty of human flesh would have been impassable, had not the Son of God stooped so low as to take on our flesh.
