Do You Want To Be Healed?

We’ve gone from one scene to another in which Jesus is interacting with people in various types of need. The first was Nicodemus, who needed to understand what it means to be born again. The second was the Samaritan woman at the well who needed to encounter the living waters that only Jesus can offer. The third was the official whose son was near death, and he needed to know both the goodness and greatness of Christ. Today we come to a man who needs to be healed. But as we’ll see, the kind of healing he needed wasn’t the kind he thought he needed.
