The Identity of Jesus

Today we're looking at some of the most theologically loaded verses in the whole New Testament. But it is worth it, because in it we will learn much about the identity of the Lord Jesus. And for those of us who love Christ, we want to know Him better. And so we need to learn to swim this morning, and I promise you won’t drown, though at times it may feel like it. 

No matter what level of theological understanding you have, there’s something here for you, and that’s because in this passage we’re not merely receiving facts about Jesus Christ. We’re encountering Him personally and beholding Him in His awesome glory. And that is what builds and sustains our faith.
