True Worship

False worship deforms us. Worship that is shallow and superficial produces shallow, superficial Christians. But the effect of biblical worship, of reading, singing, praying, preaching the Bible will be to fill worshipers with a love for God's truth. When our worship is shaped by a high view of the holiness of God, the pitiful state of sinful man, the power of the Word, and the awesome grace of the Gospel, transforms our souls and re-forms us so that we become like the God whom we worship.
